Josh Jones

My name is Joshua Jones, son of CBA Baller Basketball founder. I played for CBA longer than any other player (7 years). You could say I was one of the first kids to ever put on a CBA Jersey and compete.

When I first started playing for CBA, I wasn’t a top prospect or even well known as a kid; and hardly knew how to play the game of basketball. My Father acted and created his own AAU team (CBA) giving me a platform
to showcase my skills and develop as a basketball player. He gave me a safe space to be myself. I will always thank and love him for what he did, not just for me but for other kids in the Inland Empire.

CBA holds a special place in my heart; and I would like to thank not just my father but the other coaches who had their hand in my constant development, one on one training; and nonstop guidance given to me. With my huge success from CBA, I was able to play four years of high school basketball; and receive
my diploma in 2016.

Because of CBA I was able to go play Junior College basketball; and eventually received a full scholarship to play at Westcliff University, where I finished my college career and received my degree in Business Administration.

I am now pursuing a professional career to take my talents to play Overseas or in the NBA “G” League. I am ready to be the best professional basketball player I can be. Because of CBA all of this was made possible, and I will never forget the relationships, lessons, and overall fun I had playing for CBA and wouldn’t change it for the world.
