Coach Earl Jones began his coaching career after many years of playing himself; and refereeing all levels of basketball (College, high school, AAU, Rec and Mens/Women’s leagues). Coach Earl is a high school state basketball champion, from Illinois. He played college basketball at Upper Iowa University, prior to joining the US Air Force where he played high level basketball for six years.
Coach Earl began coaching youth basketball after his honorable release from the Air Force in 1995. Since that time, he has coached at the YMCA, City Recreation, High School (head JV and assistant Varsity boys) and AAU. Coach Earl is the co-founder of the CBA Ballers & Lady Ballers AAU basketball program, which began in 2010.
